Kalypso Media rep hints at upcoming Dungeons 2 expansion or DLC

So I beat the campaign for Dungeons 2 the other day.  Overall, it was pretty fun, even if the narrator was just a little too chatty and the ending more than a little abrupt.  Like in many games, in Dungeons 2 you get a reasonable idea how far along you are by how much the campaign map has been filled out with completed missions.  However, the story introduced a couple of, what appeared to be, important plot threads, which it left unresolved, leaving you surprised when the credits rolled.

The writers clearly wanted to make the story more than just a reason for going from Point A to B...
I get that the "story" is mainly one long farce - satirizing everything from other games such as Warcraft to works of fantasy like Lord of the Rings and Game of Thrones - but some effort clearly went into the game's back story.  So plot points brought in, then dropped, seems strange when it was obviously put together by writers who cared about making a funny and engaging story.  Who is the purple prophet with the cryptic warnings? Where did the Chaotic Evil come from?  To cap it off, the ending scene gives a cliff hanger about a threat from "beyond the wall" as well - at first I thought it could easily be a last reference to GoT (of which there were many) or an indicator of any new game content.

I'm naturally cynical so I assumed it didn't mean anything, but after a response from a Kalypso Media rep, I'm not so sure.....
In response to when "winter" might be coming he said this:

So, it may be more Game of Thrones references - but I'm excited.  A GoT satire and new content are not mutually exclusive. A red herring in a game is one thing but if following developer posts for League, Heroes and the like has taught me anything, it's that cryptic remarks on social media like this often imply something is in the works.

What this actually will be is open to debate - my first thought was DLC but it could even be a full fledged expansion.  The original Dungeons received one, so with the positive reception for Dungeons 2, an expansion could certainly be a viable move.  Of course, if that is the case, we wouldn't hear about it for at least a few months.  DLC would be considerably sooner.

I certainly wouldn't mind more Dungeons 2, regardless of what form it takes.
